• Если после установки программы щелкнуть правой кнопкой мыши по какой-нибудь папке, то в меню кнопки появится пункт ++Зеркало++. Достаточно щелкнуть по этому пункту (левой кнопкой мыши), чтобы программа запустилась и начала работу.
• Сначала будет проведена проверка одинаковых файлов внутри самой проверяемой папки. Если файлы найдены - об этом появится сообщение. Дальше можно будет посмотреть список этих файлов, удалить ненужные копии (с более длинными названиями) и (или) продолжить сканирование.
• Теперь программа будет сканировать файлы и папки, находящиеся рядом (в одной директории) с проверяемой папкой. Это так называемое окружение. В соседних папках будут проверяться только файлы: более глубоко вложенные папки игнорируются.
• Файлы могут называться по-разному, иметь различные расширения, но если они одинаковые по размеру и содержанию - то Zerkalo их найдет.
Дальше можно будет посмотреть список дубликатов и решить, какие копии лучше удалить: внутри проверяемой папки или снаружи.
• После удаления можно посмотреть список файлов, которые были удалены. Восстановить удаленные файлы можно, используя оставшиеся дубликаты-оригиналы.
Важно помнить 2 правила:
1. Как бы вы не удаляли файлы с помощью программы Зеркало, вы их никогда не потеряете, поскольку программа удаляет только копии.
2. Обходите стороной папку Windows и все, что находится внутри: некоторые копии нужны для нормальной работы самой Windows.
• Когда файлы удалены - появляется возможность проверить результат: действительно ли все дубликаты удалены. Для этого достаточно нажать кнопку Далее: программа должна выдать сообщение, что Одинаковых файлов нет.
• Чтобы проверить еще какую-нибудь папку, достаточно перетащить её мышкой в окно программы.
